North Andaman

I spent five days on a live-aboard organised by Mermaids Dive Center, starting from Phuket Town and cruising to the Similan Islands, then up to Koh Bon, Koh Tachai, and reaching Richelieu Rock. We occasionally had some strong currents to contend with and, despite not seeing any Whale Sharks or Manta Rays, we still enjoyed some excellent diving. Octopus, Moray Eels, Lionfish and Barracuda were regularly found, plus large fan and whip corals were seen.
